Interior Designer

STUDIO-C New York focuses on creating environments that sooth and elevate. Whether the focus is on the interior architecture or the last decorative object, we create timeless interiors that are the canvas for our clients’ lives or the space that exemplifies their brand.

In turn, STUDIO-C New York spaces are a result from a direct and personalized process with artisans and clients alike. We are individual, relaxed and sophisticated. We design with studied intention, intuition, humor and the future in mind.

STUDIO-C New York received recognition as a “Top 50 Coastal Interior Design Firm,” in 2019 and 2020 by Ocean Home Magazine. Our Greek Revival project in Martha’s Vineyard received three Prism Awards and a BRICC Award. The Modern Bungalow received three International Interior and Architectural Design Awards. Smallbone used our co-collaborated kitchen in their 2017-2018 international ad campaign.
Additionally, STUDIO-C New York has been featured in the UK Financial Times, UK House & Garden Kitchen and Bath, on AD.com and in New England Home Magazine. Cate Caruso founded STUDIO-C New York in 2014, after working at the esteemed firm, Pepe Lopez Design. In addition to focusing on her clients’ homes, Cate is ever keen to explore the future of design and its evolution. Cate had been featured on Food52, spoke at her alma mater, The Hotchkiss School’s “Roads Less Traveled” Panel, and had a Creative Partnership with Portico Luxury Linens in 2016.
