Born and raised in Southern California, Chris grew up in Hermosa Beach and Santa Barbara. After spending a decade in Boston, Chris now lives in New York City with his girlfriend, Catharine, and furry sidekick, Cooper.
Chris and his girlfriend moved in together on Valentine’s Day (Feb 14, 2020). Within six weeks COVID hit NYC and was time to escape. On March 28th they loaded the car, dog in the backseat, and drove 2000mi in two days to Aspen, CO. After working remotely for 2mo (April & May) they rented a 20’ camper van and embarked on a 28-day, 6500mi road trip that went through the Rockies, up the Pacific Coast, over to Montana, and finally the Dakotas. After a week of non-van-life-recovery in Aspen they returned to NYC. That journey, and working remotely, were the sparks that began TheCoTeam.
