Eileen Tognini, Founder and President of Eileen Tognini Design, is a Curator Collaborator Innovator whose mission is to conceive and design projects in collaboration with Philadelphia-based makers and doers, promoting Philadelphia as a destination for live and work, art and design. From designing bespoke commercial and residential interior projects for developers to curating large-scale art centered events, sculptures gardens, she brings her philosophy to life. Creating environments where people feel comfortable; public spaces that make everyone feel at home; and sensory experiences that leave indelible impressions, define the ethos of her work.

Recent projects include Philadelphia’s award-winning Lincoln Square and its 50k square feet of interior and exterior Amenity space and lobby; Versailles, Philadelphia Rittenhouse Square luxury living and recognized by the Philadelphia Preservation Alliance in 2017 with its Grand Jury Award; Old City Shirt Corner Apartments; five-star spa, Rescue Rittenhouse; lifestyle retail establishment in the Rittenhouse Hotel, Egan; boutique office building interior, 1760 Market; and The Peyton a 20-unit conversion of a circa 1920 parking garage. Projects scheduled for opening Fall 2020 include One City, a historic 320-unit building; conversion of a historic grain silo to 20 extended stay units; and modular housing projects are scheduled for completion in 2021/22.

Prior to starting her curatorial practice in 2001, Eileen worked for IBM in sales and marketing management for 14 years, and then as Director of Marketing for the Philadelphia-based, internationally recognized Olin Partnership, Landscape Architects and Urban Planners. Eileen served as Chair for Collab, at the Philadelphia Museum of Art supporting its Contemporary and Modern Design Collection; and currently serves on the Art Advisory Board of the Center for Emerging Visual Artists (CFEVA). Along with invitations for juror, panelist, and speaker engagements, Eileen is a past recipient of the Arts & Business Council’s “Business Volunteer for the Arts” award for consulting with the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art (PAFA) while at IBM. At the intersection of design, art and experience, Eileen Tognini Design, LLC was established in 2016.
