Standard Issue is a New York-based design consultancy working in the fields of branding, marketing, materials sampling, interactive design, industrial design, interior design, and architecture.
We conceive, design, and produce brand experiences and systems for our clients. Founded by Michael McGinn and Sharon Gresh in 2005, Standard Issue’s office is composed of a group of diversely talented and detail-oriented individuals.
Our multidisciplinary approach has proven to be particularly appropriate for clients in the shelter world who are themselves, designers, and architects. These clients have included 3Form, Bernhardt, Brooklinen, Designtex, Flos, GKD Metal Fabrics, Herman Miller, Hunter Douglas, Levolor, Moroso, Shaw, Steelcase, and Wilsonart.
Victor Abellan leads the creative operations at Standard Issue driving key initiatives to leverage creative capabilities and create brand equity growth for our clients. Victor has a deep understanding of the business value of design with more than 15 years of experience in design management, working previously with architects, brand strategists, industrial designers, and real estate developers both in Europe and in the United States.
