Mid-Century Palos Verdes Home

The Anderson Residence is designed by renowned California architect Aaron Green, a protégé and associate of Frank Lloyd Wright. The design is built to tuck into the existing site conditions, with an L shaped floorplan bent into a 45° angle due to the irregular boundaries of the site and natural features. The 1959 residence features classic elements found in architecture of the era particularly towards its embrace of nature along with a dramatic gabled roof, open-space floor plan, massive stone fireplace, redwood panelled walls and an enclosed garden. The home is currently being raffled off by the Palos Verdes Art Center.
