Chris Schabacker

Sea-Dar is a general contractor and construction manager specializing in building luxury, single-family homes for private clients. Founded in Boston in 1989 and opening a second office in New York City in 2016, Sea-Dar now has offices in Greenwich, CT, eastern Long Island and Cape Cod, where they work with many renowned architects and designers from around the country, building everything from small complex jewel box projects to large ground up estates.

Chris got his start as an Architect after receiving his Bachelor’s in Philosophy from Vassar College and Master’s in Architecture from Columbia University. After eight years designing luxury homes, he decided to start building them. He has been a fixture in the New York City high-end residential market since 2006. He is currently Director of Construction for Sea-Dar’s New York City operation.
