Kyle Vansice

Kyle Vansice is the co-founder and CEO of Cedar. Cedar is on a mission to help build more affordable, livable, and walkable neighborhoods through software that maximizes the housing potential of urban sites. The Cedar platform leverages AI to convert complex regulatory requirements and market dynamics into site planning and development scenarios that make it easy for real-estate developers and their design teams to quickly understand how to optimize a project for highest and best use.

Kyle is also a Licensed Architect and holds graduate degrees in both Architecture and Structural Engineering. Through his work at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) and Foster + Partners, he has pushed the boundaries of how computation can help create more expressive qualities in our building structures, and in turn, the way our cities are formed. He’s led the design of ambitious building projects around the world, including landmark supertall towers in China, new cities in the Middle East, and mixed-use projects in the United States.
