Matt Bindner is the co-founder of BSP (Bindner Spencer Partners), a design-build firm known for its ability to seamlessly translate design intent into expertly executed projects. With a background in both architecture and construction, Matt leads BSP with a holistic understanding of design, building, and project orchestration, ensuring seamless coordination from concept to completion.

Raised in a small Iowa town in a family of entrepreneurs, Matt developed resilience, adaptability, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving early in life. A formative trip to Chicago sparked his passion for cities and architecture, setting him on a path toward the built environment.

He earned a professional degree in architecture from Iowa State University before completing a Master of Science in Architectural Studies in Urbanism at MIT. His early career included time at Herbert Lewis Kruse Blunck Architecture, a nationally award-winning firm, where he developed a strong foundation in design excellence. He later refined his expertise at Ralph Lauren, working globally on large-scale projects that deepened his understanding of experience-driven design, detailing, and execution at the highest level.

Under Matt’s leadership, BSP has built a reputation for executing complex projects with expertise and ingenuity. The firm is actively reimagining and redeveloping multiple properties across New York City while designing residences throughout the U.S. and Canada, including the Hamptons. With a portfolio spanning hospitality, residential, and commercial sectors, BSP collaborates with discerning clients and industry leaders to bring ambitious visions to life.
