Christa Carr is Communications Director at The Glass House, a site of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and also for the National Trust’s “Tidal Basin Ideas Lab”, which seeks to preserve the monuments and environment in the tidal basin of Washington, DC, which is under threat from climate change.

Christa is a trained Art Specialist who brings more than 20 years of experience in Communications to the cultural sector; she helped to launch the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation, and, prior to the Glass House, played a lead role in global communications for TASCHEN, where she organized high-profile in-person launches for icons such as Muhammad Ali’s G.O.A.T. book.

Christa is French/American and serves on the board of Stand Together Against Racism Foundation. Christa has an Undergraduate degree in Political Science and International Relations from Boston College and an RSA in the History of Art from Christie’s Education, London.
