Fiona Mackay
Art Consultant
Fiona Mackay is an art and design consultant based between Brooklyn and the Hudson Valley. She is a partner at Bhalla Munro Art Advisory where she guides clients in building purposeful, personal contemporary art collections, and the founder of Kombi—a New York-based platform presenting work by contemporary designers and artists from Southern Africa.
With a special interest in collaborating with professionals in the built environment, Fiona’s perspective is driven by an innate awareness of what resonates aesthetically, socially and culturally, combined with an informed view of art market dynamics.
Formerly a culture writer at The New York Times and Nowness, Fiona moved to New York in 2014 to study for an MBA at Columbia University. She has also lived and worked in London, Paris, and Cape Town.
