Lea Architecture is an architecture studio that works with a broad range of clients: cultural, residential, commercial, and institutional. From the scale of the master plan to the scale of the object, we believe that challenges and limitations can lead to design opportunities. We draw from individual experience, client input, and community involvement to shape each project. We use Architecture as a tool for meaningful spatial, social, and cultural transformations. We believe in building beautiful things that work. We care about usability and design. We care about the ethos and conscience of our work and work collaboratively with clients and design partners who feel the same.

Jane Lea, AIA, is the founder of Lea Architecture. She is a licensed architect in the states of New York and Pennsylvania. She is also a founding member and current board member of Design Advocates, a non-profit organization that is a platform for architects and designers to share resources and collaborate on efforts to serve the public good through pro bono projects, research, and advocacy. Before founding LEA Architecture, Jane spent 10 years working for firms in NYC, including 8 years at Architecture Research Office where she worked on notable projects including Congregation Beit Simchat Torah (CBST) and R-House, among many others. She has taught at Cooper Union, Parsons, and Pratt.

Lea Architecture is a woman-owned company with WBE-certification in NYC and NYS.
