Kris Senior

Business Consultant

Kris is the founder of Orchestra, an advisory firm that gives contractors, creatives, and service-based businesses the power of a CFO and COO when they need it, how they need it, without the full-time overhead.

Her path is the reason Orchestra works the way it does. Over 17+ years, she moved from receptionist through estimating and project management and into the executive seat, leading teams across finance and operations. She has experienced every level of a business firsthand and knows what it takes to run one from the inside out. That’s exactly why her guidance lands differently than advice from someone who has only ever worked behind the books.

She founded Orchestra to give small and midsize firms the executive-level financial and operational support normally reserved for much larger companies. Clients gain a fully operational accounting and operations team and a true extension of their own, without carrying the cost of full-time hires. It’s an arrangement that saves many of them 30-plus hours a week.

Orchestra’s work spans three areas: bookkeeping and payroll built on real job-costing data, so owners always know which projects are profitable and why; CFO advisory covering cash-flow forecasting, pricing strategy, and profitability analysis; and COO advisory that sharpens systems, workflows, and team performance. It’s all tailored to the realities of project-based work, including shifting costs, variable revenue, tight margins, and the pressure to keep clients happy while staying profitable.

What drives Kris most is helping owners lead with confidence. She believes businesses don’t thrive on numbers alone; they thrive when leaders translate those numbers into clear direction, turning messy, reactive finances into clarity they can build from.
