Molly Haas

Photographer

Molly Haas (b. Sonoma County) is a California-based photographer specializing in residential architecture and interiors.

Her work is rooted in documenting spaces with honesty and care, using the softest natural light available and as few distractions as possible. Her approach is quiet and thoughtful, an aim to strip away excess until each image is easy to take in and does justice to the embodied experience of the design.

Between 2012–2020 she lived in Los Angeles where she grew into her photography career while steeped in LA’s generous art scene. Her understanding of the craft of photography deepened through a range of photo avenues, from portraiture and events to e-commerce. By the end of 2020 she was back in Northern California, documenting architecture & interior design full time.

Her education in art has taken her from Los Angeles’ Claremont Colleges to Denmark’s Art & Technology department of Aalborg University. She has been living and working between San Francisco and Los Angeles ever since, working both locally and internationally.
