Nathan Davies is Creative Director and Head of New York at Hayes Davidson, leading the studio’s expansion into the United States. Trained and practising as an architect before joining the team almost ten years ago, he has spent the past decade helping shape the studio’s creative output and reputation. He relocated from London to establish the New York operation, and is responsible for the team, its clients, and the creative direction of the work across the country.

Hayes Davidson is a world-leading creative studio bringing fresh thinking and distinctive visual storytelling to the international built environment. Founded in London in 1989 and entirely employee-owned, it has spent more than three decades helping the world’s most ambitious architects and developers communicate their ideas and ambitions, among them Zaha Hadid, Norman Foster, Thomas Heatherwick, Kengo Kuma and Brookfield Properties.

The studio works as a creative partner at every stage of a project, combining strategic insight, considered creativity and beautifully crafted visuals to help clients stand out in a crowded market. Its work spans stills, films and animation, verified views, and immersive experiences and activations, always human-led, always art-directed, never formulaic. Restless in its creativity, Hayes Davidson interrogates every brief to find what is genuinely new, and deploys evolving technology with intent, always in the service of the idea.

From its new base in New York, the studio is now active on projects across the city and the wider United States, building on more than thirty years of craft and a distinctly ambitious creative vision as it establishes itself in the American market.
