NYC Decorative Arts specializes in a wide array of custom hand applied finishes. Natural plasters, Venetian plaster, flutes, painted finishes, gilding and much more. We work closely with interior designers and architects to help bring their vision to life with texture, sheen, color and feel. We provide a unique experience through a diligent studio practice that aims to bring materials to life. With a one of a kind team of experienced artisans, NYCDA is equipped to take on projects of all sizes, including unusually challenging spaces. Patrick Shoemaker has nearly twenty years of experience with decorative finishing. He has a BFA and MFA in fine art painting and has exhibited his work internationally.
