Tom Delavan

Tom Delavan is the design and interiors director of T: The New York Times Style Magazine. He joined T magazine in 2013.
Tom also maintains his own interior design practice. He not only creates spaces that reflect the character and lifestyle of the individuals who inhabit them, but also guides his clients in selecting pieces that will appreciate and add value to their home or place of work by bringing out the best in their space.
Tom draws on three decades of experience looking critically at fine and decorative art, furniture, objects, and interiors.
Prior to joining T, Tom served as the editorial and creative director of Gilt Home, and editor at large at Domino magazine. He has held positions at Deutsche Bank art advisory, The Armory Show, and Sotheby’s.
Tom received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 1990 and his bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College in 1985.
