Interior Designer

Whitney’s path to interior design was anything but straight. After earning her bachelor’s degree from USC, she spent years in the film industry before realizing her true passion lived somewhere else entirely — in the spaces people inhabit every day. She went back to school, immersed herself in managing interior showrooms, and never looked back.

In 2016, Whitney founded WIT Interiors, a boutique residential design firm based in Oakland, CA, serving clients throughout California. WIT offers everything from curated home furnishings to ground-up renovations, with a deep love for collaborating with architects, contractors, and construction teams. Some of the most exciting moments happen on the job site, when everyone brings their experience to the table and together creates something entirely new.

At WIT, the belief is that a well-designed home has to do it all: thoughtful storage, functional layouts, performance materials — and still just feel right. Clients should walk through their front door and exhale. Whitney also believes design should have a sense of humor. A wink, a nod, an unexpected moment that makes you smile — that’s where the magic lives.

Whitney lives in Marin County with her husband and two young daughters, who are a daily reminder of just how much good design matters. After over a decade in this industry, she continues to learn something new on every project, and remains inspired by the talent, innovation, and generosity of the people in it.
