Zach Rockhill

Zachariah Rockhill, Founder and CEO of Rockhill Group, has been in the construction industry for over 30 years. Zach was raised in the trades as lead foreman for his father’s architectural firm – the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Award finalist, Rockhill and Associates. After a brief career as an artist, showing and teaching at institutions such as MoMa PS1, The Venice Biennial, UPenn and Cooper Union, Zach transitioned back to the world of design and construction.

Under Zach’s guidance, Rockhill Group has successfully grown from a small team of four to a team of over 35 employees and three self-sustaining businesses: high-end construction, Hatchet – a full service design build team and GDR – a bespoke millwork shop. Today, Rockhill Group is a concierge level, luxury construction company in New York City known for collaborating with prestigious talent.

Rockhill’s integrated services have garnered them a city-wide reputation for renovating and preserving historical Brooklyn brownstones along with a diverse range of projects including lofts, townhouses, rooftop suites, and ground-up developments. Their highly trained in-house team is rigorously committed to design integrity, exceptional quality, and delivery of craft, and Rockhill has gone on to have projects published across many design publications including Architectural Digest, Dwell, Wallpaper*, Luxe Interiors + Design, and Dezeen.
