Relationships are the infrastructure. The fourth edition of the Brick & Wonder bulletin looks at what holds up when everything else is changing.

As AI reshapes how the built industry works, this issue argues that human connection matters more, not less. It brings together stories of collaborators who found each other, stayed connected, and did their best work together, even under pressure. In the Catskills, The Up Studio and Bayview Landscape Architecture turned a site’s worth of on-site rubble into one of a home’s defining details. In Chelsea, London, Portia Fox Design and millwork specialists LANSERRING built a custom kitchen, trading individual agendas for a shared client brief.
